The North Sydney District Rugby League Referees' Association has been refereeing Junior Rugby League in the North Sydney District
since 1922. The current teams who play in the North Sydney District Rugby League are: Asquith Magpies, Berowra Wallabies, Hills Hawks, Kuring-gai Cubs, Lane Cove Tigers, North Sydney Brothers, Pennant Hills Stags and Willoughby Roos.
Members of the NSDRLRA have the opportunity to improve their refereeing skills by achieving accreditation to referee mini, mod and senior rugby league. (e.g. A Grade) There is also an opportunity for amibitious referees to be selected for the Junior Representative Squad, NSW Grade or even the NRL. Our Association has a number of qualified advisors who have been associated with grade in one form or another.
NSDJRLRA life member Jon Stone is currently refereeing in the NRL. He has been there since 2014. Other NSJRLRA members who have previously refereed in the NRL are Brian Barry, Steve Betts, Steve Clark, Colin Jones and Martin Ryan.
